Emergency Response Plans

The emergency response plans are essential to project safety and an important contingency in the event of a real incident whether it be to a vessel, personnel or the environment. Offshore an Emergency Response Cooperation Plan (ERCoP) must not only be in place but regular drills need to be carried out and audited. Onshore arrangements also need to be in place for the processing of injured persons such as divers to Hyperbaric Chambers or to the nearest A&E hospital. It is also useful to have a critical incident plan in place so that actions are carried out in agreed way with involvement of Directors and Local 3rd parties.
